Jasper, Alberta
As we drove towards Jasper, the storm clouds were getting less and less thick, the visibility was improving, and what looked like one big cloud in the horizon in fact turn out to be the shadow of the majestic Rockies!
I can't express with words the feeling I got when I saw them for a first time. I was breath-taken, I was speechless, I felt so small but so full of emotions...It was one of the most remarkable things I have ever experienced in my entire life..!!

We saw wildlife near the road on many locations and we stopped to admire them at a safe distance. They were so peaceful, quietly grazing and strolling around. We even saw a grisly bear at some point!!!! That was cool but scary at the same time! I've never seen a grisly bear and I was definitely impressed. He/she was just munching on some wild bush near the road but it was dangerously close to the campgrounds so the park guards came a few minutes after we saw it. They said the bear was too close to the camping so they had to chase it away.

Our campgroud was Wabasso and it was beautiful! Not too far away from downtown Jasper, but also not too close to town either. We were located near quite a few locations that were a must see.

The next morning we headed for Mount Edith Cavell - the first stop on our list.
