As the weather has finally decided to indulge us with beautiful sunny days and gorgeous, awaking parks and forests, here we are - planning another road trip again. This time, since it will be our second time going to Gaspé and the Pierced Rock, we want to do things differently. I have already started planning our itinerary and thinking what to pack for our camping gear. So far, the things we packed last year were quite useful, so I think I’ll stick to the same list:
Cooler
Grill for over the fire cooking
Gas camp stove and toaster
cooking stuff - yes, I packed my pans and pots :)
Hiking backpacks and boots
Camping chairs
Power extension and power bar - to charge all our electronics
Sleeping bags and blankets
Pillows - I bring our bedroom pillows because I can’t sleep otherwise
Big Costco bags for easy storage and carrying lots of small stuff
Clothes for cool weather - the nights can get quite chilly
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Tarps for covering the tent and ropes to attach them to nearby trees
Axe for chopping kindling
Fire starter and matches
Water jugs
Food items, including dry food
Dish soap and a sponge
Plastic bin to carry dishes to kitchen area at camping grounds
Camera and GoPro gear, chargers, etc
I hope we would be able to discover new places and secret spots as we drive to Gaspé but it will be another amazing trip nevertheless!!
