Today was a "drive around and look at places to visit" kind of day. We drove to Cap des Os and discovered a nice beach which gave us a few a very nice seashells to collect. There was a kayaking place and we took down all the information and prices in case we came back again sometime soon. Right in front of the Cap des Os entrance there was a small groceries store where we found a few things we wanted for lunch, including a freshly baked baguette! Yum!

We came back to camp and had lunch. Then, we took our camping chairs and walked down to "our secret" pebble beach. We sat down for awhile and enjoyed the sea and the air. It reminded me of Varna and filled my heart with memories...

After awhile, we went back to leave our stuff and plan our afternoon. We decided to take a drive to the south side and view the rest of the things over there. We ended up finding another cool spot between L'anse Blanchette and L'anse aux Amérindiens where Gabi got her crab claw! She ended up plaing with it all the way back to the camping spot :)

Once we arrived at our camping, I started getting ready for building the fire and preparing supper. Our wood consisted big logs only so I needed to make my kindling. I had brought a small axe for these purposes but didn't had to use it until now. I also used a small piece of birch bark which I found on the same beach Gabi found her crab claw. It was the perfect way to start our fire and I am glad I gave it a try. It wasn't easy to get the kindling to the right size but I finally got the hang of it. Next time I will bring a bigger axe...

After supper we cleaned up the camp spot and started preparing for the evening. The tent was nice and cozy and I we had some fun playing around with a glow in the dark earrings we bought from the grocery store :-)
